Troubleshooting
Please note there are many kinds of different kinds of phones and routers available and while the majority of combinations will work using these guide lines not all will. If you are having problems getting connected we will try to assist but also please contact your phone and router supplier for help and try searching on line for a solution.
My phone dosn't register or I can't receive incoming calls
This is usually caused when your phone is behind a router using NAT. Try enabling STUN on your phone and setting the STUN server to stun.net-voice.net. You may need to restart your phone for it to take effect.
Some routers have settings for SIP and its always best to try these first before setting STUN. However if you are using more than phone or service you may need to disable the routers SIP handling and use STUN on the phone.
If you can't get things to work you may need to ask your router supplier for help.

Echo Test
Use the echo test facility to check if you have 2 way voice on outbound calls. This is a good indicator of whether your set up is working. There is no charge to use this.
Call 9195. At the prompt speak into your phone. Your voice will be played back to you.
If you don't hear the prompts or your don't hear yourself played back then you need to check your phone and router settings.
